Library
Welcome to the Knox Gardens Primary School Library. Reading is an essential foundation for every child’s success, and we foster a lifelong love of learning through weekly library visits. Students have the opportunity to explore, borrow, and enjoy a wide variety of books that spark their imagination, inspire curiosity, and encourage a passion for reading.
Our library contains a fabulous range of fictional and non-fictional books for students to borrow. All children across the school have access to the library each week in which regular borrowing is encouraged to further develop reading skills and a love of reading.
There is a Year 6 student Library Committee who meet regularly to discuss initiatives to enhance our library.
Sharing library books provides an enjoyable experience for both parents and students.
An annual Book Fair is held during the year and families are able to purchase a wide range of books and fun stationery. Proceeds from the sales benefit our Library.
We also participate in both the Premier’s Reading Challenge and Book Week during Term 3 each year, celebrating characters from all the stories we read and love.
